🎄 🙏 Christmas!!

This Christmas is maybe a new tradition and well at least something new. And I love change!!
This year hubby's work schedule conflicts with us going to our usual family spot. So we are going to have our own Christmas at home just us and I'm actually excited.

Failure

Do you ever have such a horribly draining night and wake up feeling like an all around failure at every aspect of your life??

That's how I woke up today.

Princess cried and begged to be done with her bath and had a convolution the whole time I clipped her finger and toe nails. And as all this was going on I offended Raven. (Because I'm a failure)

We moved in a out dated extended stay hotel. Which actually is nicer than the place we just moved out from and lost a lot of things. Our car was taken due to lack of payment and It's just that this isn't what I pictured my life to be.

I was suppose to be a Anthropologist studying indigenous countries and islands and if I happened to get pregnant I would wear her on my chest as a new born and on my back as a toddler backpacking through the Europe. I would so her the world.

But no I'm a failure.

I wish Raven and I will take Princess an explore the world and leave behind all of our troubles and debt.

Our weekend and update!

Update:
Many new things to mention. Some good and a few BAD. But I'll just tell the good.

I went to school to become a Aesthetician and graduated. Took the state tests and passed. Now just waiting for my license to come.
I'm itching to get my career started.
So look forward to post about skin care and other things esthetic.

My husband is now going to school(finally!) he is in the process of getting his associate degree in digital graphic arts. ( I am so proud! But shh do let him know! I want to make sure he finishes) He goes to work full time in the evening and goes to school in the mornings. So we don't see him much but it's all good.

Princess Emeli-Lynn is growing so much everyday and is SO smart!
She knows and identify the colors red, blue, green, and sometimes yellow lol.
She can sing the abc song almost perfectly. That's pretty amazing for a 2 year old!!
We are working on a schedule which so difficult since she really isn't a napper. But it gets easier everyday. We are also establishing responsibility(chores). So will definitely post how that's going.

Weekend:
Let's begin with sabbath(Saturday). We went to church and then hung out with some family. Then later we went to a shindig at church. I line danced and we ate barbecue. Emeli got to see animals and pet a pony which was the best thing ever to her :). She loved it even though it was so cold.

Sunday was game day at the in-laws and pizza. Cowboys vs Giants and sadly to say cowboys lost. But it was a good game.
Came home and watched movies with uncle Tiu!! A good end to a good weekend.

Our weekend!!

Princess and I had a date night Saturday. We went to go see "Happy Feet 2" she was so good, she did not run off nor scream and she did as she told the whole night. She was a little scared walking into the dark theater and scared of the loud music at first but she had a great time. She finished her own box of popcorn. (sorry no pics for this)

Sunday: We went to my in-laws for lunch and had some bar-b-q chicken,potato salad, and peach pie with Ice cream. After wards we went to the park and she went down "her" slide like 10 times then we went for a 1/2 a mile walk that she walked the entire time and then we played on the playground till it was time to go.

My Sunday night

My beautiful mother in law took me out. We went to the Highlands which is a shopping/dining/entertainment area. We stopped at Chuy's for margaritas and chips and salsa and some tortillas. Then we went walking through the shops and check out Charming Charlie's. When we were coming up on to the store a lady came out of the improv and offered us free tickets to the nights main event (Russell Peters). And we accepted them(of course). Well we still wanted to check out charming Charlie's but then by the time we got there it just turned 6 do they were closed. But we got to the show and it was completely sold out. We were lucky no else sat at our table with us. It was a funnytastic show. We were truly lucky to get those tickets. We had a Italian margarita and lemon drops. And mozzarella sticks and spinach artichoke dip.

Homemade lasagna! My first time making it and I hit out of the park it's delicious even the next day lol.

Tonight my cousin and her husband, Emeli and I are eating Chinese "takeout" delivery.

Tonight my husband whipped up his delicious Taco Salad. It's surprisingly yummy with it's unlikely mixture.

With lettuce, kidney beans, ground meat( turkey or beef), Doritos, and Catalina dressing its a meal that keeps you going back for more.
